How Can I Get my sleep pattern back to normal Before school starts?

Question:
School starts on Thursday. In the summer I stayed up until 5:00am and woke up at 1:00pm. I'm want to go to bed at 9:30 10:00 being the latest and wake up at 4:30am. I have trouble sleeping whenever I try.

Answers:
If you don't want to shock your system too badly, begin about 2 weeks before school by going to bed a half hour earlier and waking up a half hour earlier in the morning. Do this each day (even weekends...I know...I'm mean) until you are on the proper schedule. And what the heck...watching the sun rise a couple of times isn't all that bad.:-)

*edit*
well...with only two days you don't have much of a choice but to shock your system into compliance. You will have to wake up tomorrow at about 4-5 AM and force yourself to stay awake. It's the only way to gain compliance from your body before the start of school
Try to go to bed tonight as early as possible and set your alarm for 4:30am. Wake up at 4:30am regardless of what time you go to bed. Be active when you're up so you don't fall back asleep. Keep yourself awake until 9pm. You're still young, so your body will get used to it in 2-3 days.
the answer to your question is yes start off by going to sleep at a set time so that your body will get use to going to bed at that time but you have to do this for about a week and stick to it to get your body adjusted once you see that this cycle working try not to break the cycle because it will be harder to regroup and start over
