Should canabis be reclassed to class b?
Question:
Answers:
the skunk today is far stronger than the pot of 10-15 years ago.and yes it should be class a b class.
I don't use it, but know a lot of people who do & in my opinion it should be legalised. Most of the crime that's related to drugs isn't to do with cannabis it's because of harder drugs. I think people should be allowed to use it like they do in Holland.
It should be legalised, it is no worse than alcohol. It may cause mental health problems in people who were susceptible anyway but at the end of the day it's their choice to use it. If it was legal it could be standardised and would probably cause less harm than the crap that's on the streets now.
A thorny issue.
Generally, 'banning' something is not so good because it becomes attractive to others.
However, are guns not a suitable item to be banned?
It all depends on the use or misuse.
I've never done drugs - not a boast - just how it is.
So I'm not so sure I'm qualified to say but the idea of the free availability of them leaves me cautious.
I think these days it is so much stronger so it should be a class A drug BUT I think for certain medicinal uses it should be available on prescription.
na..leave it a c...i think it should carry the same laws as alcohol tho..i.e drivin wen under the influence of drugs.. u dont actually get done for it. most ppl who r drivin at the time usually have some on them thats y they get arrested...
and even then coppers dont actually say how much u had on ya. coz they take some for themselves...
It should be reclassified to legal. When not abused, it has many positive attributes that can help people with anxiety, cancer, glaucoma, eating problems, etc.
I don't do it wouldn't touch the stuff, but If people want to do Cannabis then its up to them, I don't see why the government or anybody else should have a say in it, as long as they do it in there own space. If you don't like it then don't do it, there are already too many laws.
There was never any justification for dropping it down to C. All the information was there. It was about as sensible as the super casino thing. The politicians who supported these 2 policies were either naive, on the take in some way, or just plain daft. I am just delighted that Gordon Brown seems to be showing every sign of using down to earth common sense and dumping the casinos and reclassifying cannabis.
Yes - most definitely, having known a lot of people that use it (lived at a YMCA for four years and had the smell waft under my door!) and seen the damage it does to folks mental health. Trouble is you never know if it will affect you before you start - just one joint etc can be enough to cause psychosis so I wouldn't go there!
If people want to smoke cannabis then let them. The Nanny State is well and truly entrenched in the UK. Don't do this, don't say that, don't eat this, don't smoke here, but feel free to drink as much alcohol as you want any time of day! Ask the police if it should be re-classified, the majority would say that its a waste of time and money, they have enough to do these days than chase people for having cannabis. How many A&E departments have to cope with violent assaults from cannabis smokers? This government needs to stop interfering in the daily lives of people. If you are aware of the dangers of substances whether legal or illegal, then you make an informed choice as to whether or not you want to take that risk. it is not up to the government to stop you. They should be looking at getting our soldiers out of Iraq and Afghanistan, getting the economy, immigration and yob culture under control rather than piddling about telling us what we can and can't do.
