Obsession? How do I fix it? Help?

Question:
I am NOT trying to be funny or stupid by saying I'm obsessed to Answers. I actually feel sick when I'm not on the computer, and all I do when not on is reherse over and over again what I've said to people, if they liked it or not, and especially the stupid things I've said. This goes on while I am among other people, friends and family, so the <lack of real people argument> is irrelevant in my case. I dwell over two stupid things I said in particular, and get so scared when people say <don't wory about it.> I usually spend whatever time I can oline now, which includes staying awake past 4am on Answers so that I can be on when the computer is free. When I am off the computer, my throat clenches, my heart races, and I get sweaty and very irritable. I kept deleting accounts, but I always come back. Is this just an obsession? How do i get rid of it? And how to get past guilt and embarsassment when I shouldve kept my mouth shut?

Answers:
okay. This is the 3rd Q of yours i've answered. Go and check. I know you will. Your questions are a cry for help. So please listen to me.
Here is a word that I want you to hum and meditate away from your computer: moderation. That's what you need to focus on. I am serious here. Anything that one does excessively isn't healthy.
I read your profile a coupla days ago, and you are a high IQ individual trying to live in this world - your world. And it ain't easy for anybody who has passion like you obviously do. Among the advice that I gave you before was to try to adapt. It was the Zoloft question. I'm concerned about you and am trying to "tune-in" to you, but you're young and your energy is high, and kinda out of control now. Your energy is like a Natural Gas Well. One that has just been discovered, but not tapped and under control yet. That's where they ignite it and let it burn for a few weeks so as to prevent an explosion. They "bleed" it off for awhile to relive the initial pressure and make sure it's not just a small pocket of gas.
The heart racing thing is anxiety. It will take a few days (and nights), but try Square-breathing. That's where you breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds, and wait 4 seconds. Then repeat. Easy to master and will work everytime when those feelings of anxiety suddenly rise. You should feel relief and a feeling of comfort within 3-5 mins.
Anxiety becomes a physical thing & it's just your body talking to you, so listen to it. It's your only body and it will serve you in the most wonderful ways if you just let it.
The time thing is also something I would like to help you with. It is not natural to be awake when it's dark. i hope that someday your future self will relish the sunrise, and absorb the serenity of the morning hour.
Peace, David
