They are a hypochondriac. I have one in my family and she has had more tests than anyone could possibly imagine. She also passes it on to her children and has them tested for anything imaginable and any tests that she gets the results back from if the doctor says anything at all slighty negative she will blow it all out of proportion and make it a massive thing.
One example would be she had to go into hospital to have her sinuses flushed out and she convinced my father that she was going in for tests as the doctor said she may have a brain tumor. Of course there was no problem and she just had snot in her nose but she had my dad very worried.
Hypochondria
