Is Oscar the cat predicting death or causing death?

Question:
A yahoo article recently released is on Oscar the cat. A nursing and rehab home (for the elderly) cat that they say can predict when a patient is going to die.

Call me a skeptic but I am not a believer. Most of these nursing home patients are on the borderline anyways. Bring in a cat that causes all types of respiratory problems. Add to that a dash of paranoia from 'the cat of death' to raise the heart rate and there you have the harbinger of death.

Answers:
What you vant to know in so many vords is is Oscar a cat of Evil? Use you are own judgement. Does his eyes light up? Does he emit a strained edgy scream? Vhen you luke deeply into his eyes do you heard several high pitched strokes? Is he a Black Cat? Or does everything about him seem--quite normal?
Still, you can never be too sure--ha, ha,ha,ha.
The article mentioned that patients were usually too 'out of it' to know that he was there, so I don't think that's it. He could definitely induce respiratory problems though.
It's been proven and they mentioned it in the article that animals can react to things like illness and death. They sense things we cannot. I think he may be reacting to an odor, like excess CO2 that emenates from a person's body when they are ready to pass on. He is not the first story I have heard of where animals act this way.
Cats and dogs don't cause respiratory problems in everybody except some allergics. I doubt Oscar's accuracy would be so high if that was all there was to it.
There's definitely something about animals that humans just don't understand yet. I firmly believe that Oscar knows when patients are going to die; he senses something.

Animals are really weird like that, and that is mostly why I believe. I had the nicest cat that died a few months ago actually, and he hung around pregnant people. When both of my sisters were pregnant, he would cuddle next to them. When they weren't pregnant, he just ignored them like usual.

And my dog. When I'm sick with a cold or a flu bug, anything of the sort, he hangs around. It has to be a weird sense that animals have.

There are other things too, like how birds know when to migrate or when animals know when there'll be a change in weather.

There must be something that we don't understand.
