What day do hallucinations normally occur when you try to go without sleep?

Question:
I'm doing an experiment because I think it would be cool to naturally hallucinate, I will not be driving or doing anything that could cause me or anyone else harm. I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried this before and could fill me in or tell me what its like, It has only been 1 day without sleep for me so far

Answers:
It will take well into the 3rd to 4th day. The other symptoms will definitely hit you first. These may include dizziness, tremors, headaches, muscle aches, irritability, nausea and a host of other symptoms which will make you want to ditch the experiment and sleep.
Dude, don't experiment with your health. What if you pass out and bang your head on something? It's not worth it...Smoke a few bowls or something but don't deprive yourself of sleep...
Human brain gets used to certain pattern waves, if you try to undo or redo these patterns, the brain responses in "unusual" ways...hallucinations etc. Which are actually different parts of the brain interacting in new ways, since the signals are sent anew. Practices like voluntary deprivation of sleep has been known in different cultures.
