Any one with bi polar II have psycotic episodes. Help I think I'm headed for one?
Question:
Every time these things have happened stress that I could not resolve was present. I am currently having terrible stress and I can feel my brain staring to rattle and and I feel like I'm going to be loosing contol and I'm worried as I have no one to support me or to be able to help me if the worst is going to happen and I turn 'funny' as i call it. Once during one of these 'funnny' things I nearly set the house of fire and two other times the suicide attempts I made were so bad I nearly died - one involved being in intensive care for eleven days. I don't know what to do!
Answers:
Hi! Aren't you taking meds? If you are, maybe they are not the right ones? I have anxietry/depression and take an antidepressent, but sometimes.I know what you mean about the symptoms creepin' up on ya. Then they get worse because we worry about them, right? Okay, fine, we let the fear obsess our brain, so it does feel like it's rattling! I say, call the doc or go to the E.R. They can prescribe you a sedative to work thru the "funny" moments. That way, you can bypass the stuff that makes your mind lead up to an episode, ok? Without the lead up, there is no moment. I still think you have the wrong med if your'e taking one. Go to your doc today or if you can't make an appt. , to the E.R. Tell em everything, so they will help you correctly, ok? Check back in to tell us how you made it thru. E mail me if you need emotional support! Hugs to ya! oooooooo( You aren't alone...)
call your therapist for immediate intervention
you do have a therapist dont you?
You need to call someone you trust. Preferably a professional. Do you see a doctor for this? You should tell a friend or a family member. Ask if you can stay with them or check yourself into a hospital. You don't want to take the risk of hurting yourself or someone else! I would go immediately before you become funny and forget what your good intentions were. It's good that you can target when its going to happen...that way you can go somewhere and be safe. I'd call a doctor. Good luck!
