For no reason? Yep. If it's a lot to the point where it's affecting your life, then I'd best be going to the doctor to get checked out.

Crying is a normal human reaction to sadness or extreme happiness.
But excessive crying could point to a disorder. See a doctor.
Well, this depends. Some experts consider crying to be a mechanism of your body's need to release emotional energy. In that sense, crying is good. For example, if you are upset about something, then a good cry can give you the release you need and actually help you feel better, less tense, and less upset.
Situational crying is just that, when a person cries over a bad situation. However, crying continually or frequently could be a sign of depression.
Situational depression is just that as well, when a person feels depressed over a situatoin. For example, when my mother was terminally ill and she died, I was situationally depressed for quite some time. I had to see my family doctor and have her put me on something for depression and anxiety. After a long time passed, I felt better and was able to get back to "normal." I still missed my Mom, and I still do now, but I that's just life. I am no longer "depressed" about it. I cry occasionally over missing her, but that is because I'm human.
You find that you are crying very frequently, or you just can't stop. You may also have other symptoms of depression, such as no energy, no or too much appetite, not caring about things you usually are interested in, feeling suicidal or that sort of thing. If you are feeling that bad, then do not hesitate to see your family doctor and talk about how you are feeling. There is a lot of help and support out there!
Good luck and I hope you (or the person you are thinking of who is crying) feel better!
Yes, if it's for no reason. Maybe try to see a therapist or figure out why you would be crying to change it.
What are you crying about? Silly, selfish stuff, or the plight of unfortunate others? Crying in a movie or while reading a book is not bad, it just shows that you're sensitive to what's being portrayed. If you're crying over imagined hurt feelings or don't even know why, then yes, it's bad and you need to get some counseling.
There must be something within you that makes you cry so much. What you should be asking yourself is why you are crying? And it almost always comes down to a lack of love. Learn to love yourself first and forgive yourself for everthing you've done in the past. Then surround yourself with people that love you and accept you as you are. Stay away from negative folks, focus on the positive all the time and laugh at your imperfections. Take responsibility for your own life.
There's so many more things to laugh for than to cry for.
Life is truly a fantastic experience, it all depends how you look at it.
Saludos desde Mexico.
the fact that ur asking, tells me that u must be depressed. people cry on occassion, but alot? u obvisouly need to release the emotion, but sounds like u need someone to talk to. what has happened? if u don't know, then what/when is it triggered? something may have happened years ago and u never grieved it, in which case it is now catching up with u. try to be aware of the triggers... stay away from the news or anything that isn't uplifting. when i went through a really bad depression i only watched shows that made me feel good or laugh. it helped. but, u still need to address what is bothering u. are u possibly PMSing?
do u feel better when your done crying?
if its over grief there is a time to cry
or over extreme joy too
this will help change grief into happy tears=and its time for help from above -read Romans 1 to be thankfull and share the gospel and worship the creator instead of the created-this helped me alot=
the ultimate answer is still the same, its about the one that still loves us unconditionally=
and look up for help from above=In Jesus amazing grace John 3 repented and asked Jesus in my heart to forgive sins and be my friend, amen"
Revelation 3:19&20 as he asks-for the more abundant life=John 10
best wishes and prayer for you my friend
