I think my anxitey is like so much worse then depression?

It's anxiety. Yes, I think having anxiety can cause a person to feel depressed or even become depressed. I have panic attacks. I hate leaving my apartment alone. I'm terrified when I do leave. It's really frustrating because I have to depend on other people to get simple things like groceries. At one point, I didn't even leave my apartment for 4 months straight!
There have been days when I've broken down and cried. Anxiety can make a person feel absolutely helpless and that helplessness, worthless, needy, incompetent, stupid, embarassed, ashamed and the list goes on. Sometimes though, I get so depressed that I couldn't care at all about being anxious, nothing matters. It's like depression is a break from anxiety. Some vacation eh?
Well, I don't know if it ever goes away or if the medications help. I took some meds for awhile and my anxiety levels probably tripled let alone the other details of the state I was in! But, I deal without meds, trying desperately to use reason and rational as my defense.
The good news is that given your age, the level of your anxiety is probably closely related to your teenage hormones. I know when I was a teenager, I was much more depressed, had violent mood swings, almost never slept and was a lot more anxious, even paranoid at times. These days, it's better. Give yourself a few years before you give up. You never know, maybe when your hormones settle down, your anxiety will too.
You take zoloft, paxil and trazadone???All 3? Uh oh!!Those are NOT to be combined first of all!!
this is like the the question what came first the chicken or the egg? you could very well be right and you may be depressed because of your anxiety or you could be depressed and that can cause anxiety. it really isn't an exact science, however most antidepressants also help with anxiety and it is preventative for depression, i know that once i got my anxiety under control then i didn't feel depressed and it made me wonder the same thing as you. and for being 15 you are very perceptive as to what is going on so you are not crazy anxiety just makes you feel like you are. believe me i know that alot and i am ok. i hope this helps
Well the meds you are on is heavy.Paxil is what turned my life around. But,trazadone just made me have weird a** dreams.
Are any of these meds new?

your account goes with panic disorder, which is a severe form of anxiety, it can harbor some depressive symptoms.
you are already on drugs, but xanax tablets would be a good choice if your psychiatrist agree on it.

OK hun.. Zoloft treats both depression and anxiety, so I'm not sure why you are on three different meds. I have both anxiety and depression and manage very well only on Zoloft, so maybe you should seek another doctor's advice. Never hurts to have a second opinion. I think you might need a med adjustment or might have a bad reaction to one of the meds. After 10 months, you should be calmer and not have as many racing thoughts. I sleep without dreaming sometimes while on my meds, but barely sleep at all if I'm not on my meds. Too many thoughts that never seem to end. You can manage this and live a productive life, it's just a matter of finding the right meds for you and making a few life changes to help you better manage your problems. I totally understand where you are coming from and I feel for you because you are so young (I wasn't diagnosed until I was 29 and I'm 36 now). Things can and will get better.. have faith.
