Do you think tea is good for our health?
Question:
Answers:
You'll hear pros and cons on both sides regarding the drinking of tea. And , too this is with many things in life. One needs to decide for self much of what we believe to be true, and be careful we don't mix into the "truth" our wants rather than the real truth into the reason.. I have taken the guide of Religious inspiration into my counsel of do's and don't 's. Herb teas although they are without the black or green teas mixed in, and usually no caffeine which is the main reasoning of the religious debate , STILL for some can be a problem. A few have had allergic reactions or due to die from herbs not known previously to be allergic to. I heard if true, that in England if a known surgery is impending tea drinking is discouraged as the tanic acid (used in tanning hides) can cause partanitous possibly. So , If this is true.. that is enough reason for me Not to drink regular tea.. Caffeine raises the blood pressure, and dries out the skin.. You can research more into this.. But, ultimately the choice is yours.. The Mormon Faith doesn't advise to drink tea or coffee, alcohol, or smoke tobacco. And , that is their Word of Wisdom from the 1800's.. Given all that has been found out regarding the use of these things over the years to the affects on our health. I'd say pretty inspirational.. and wise.. There is enough other things in life and such to worry over. Herb teas are ok in general.. with them. And, can be used for health purposes.
We each have free agency to decide for ourselves our choices in life.. and, the reasoning behind those choices. Then, just let it go. and know you are also free to change your mind...
It's good for you
Tea is very good for you. It has antioxidents which fight cancer cells. it also encourages you to drink a lot of water which is good, and it is even good for your dental health as well.
The question is" how does your body react ot caffienne? Do you drink coffee? Or cola? Or hot chocolate? Tea is OK. There is no nutritional value to it. It has antioxidants in it(esp. green tea) which is good for you.
Everything in moderation.
When I was studying to become a Dental Lab Tech, I was quite amazed when a quiz had a 'curiosity' question on it for a bonus..."What common beverage is effective in fighting caries (tooth decay)?" and the answer was tea!
I also know that green tea has better anti oxidents than black tea...but that both are infinitely better than soda or coffee in that regard...unfortunately, my drink is coffee...strong...3 days in the urn type Navy coffee...ah well.
Well tea is good for us but as mostly (not water "drinks".) you should not drink in excess
Eastern cultures have found green tea to be good for one's overall health; however, it is important not to drink in excess.
