Answers:
yeah i guess its possible but it can be hard to differentiate between adhd symptoms and bipolar symptoms. they are kind of the same. dont listen to anyone else on this - i am the king of everything including all life on mars. i know everything and im bruce willis
Absolutely. It's pretty common I believe.
The only issue is that bipolar is a fairly complex diagnosis, and several of the symptoms are coindicated between depression, mania, and ADHD.
So yes, it's possible, but it'd require professional help to diagnose.
yes, the two can happen at once.
If the person is on medication they can have a lot more than what they started with wrong them. The medication given to keep your mania down is actually a downer so yeah there is a attention distraction.
Absolutely. It is difficult for people with bipolar to focus on one thing at a time. It is quite common for people with bipolar to have an attention disorder. I am bipolar, so I have read a lot about being bipolar, and this is a common dual diagnosis.
I am bipolar (extremely) and I have ADD. I don't know if it is common or not but they are two seemingly unrelated diseases.
Also do not confuse having bi polar and ADD with ADHD.
I have come of as being ADHD instead of ADD during manic phases.
Possible but the symptoms of Bipolar (especially Bipolar type I) are very similar to those of ADD/ADHD.
More info here which points out symptoms of bipolar that are not typically symptoms of ADHD

Yes, but it may be difficult to diagnose the ADD before the bipolar is properly treated because some of the symptoms overlap.
