Help me with my workout?

Question:
2 years ago i graduated highschool. I was Texas all state Safety and Wide reciever. Voted most atheletic and most handsome in the school. I had cut arms toned legs and an 8 pack to die for. Since then i have had shoulder and knee surgery and am just no getting on my feet. I want to get back in shape and look like that a gain . Can anyone help. much appriciated.

Answers:
i just had knee surgury myself and it's a ***** getting motivated to get back in there. this may sound ridiculously simple, but change your diet, cut back on your processed sugars and such. I also got really depressed right after my acl surgury and it made me eat more than i should have been.

also, i have to convince myself everytime i go to work out that working through the pain is ok. you know your own limitations. don't use your injuries as an excuse. you know how far you can push yourself, just don't over do it an re-injure yourself.

set goals for yourself and keep a log of what you're doing everyday and include what you're eating. leave that comfort food behind you. But remember, these things take a little time. don't let yourself be discouraged and give up. It's not all going to come back overnight.

best of luck!

8 pack? you mean like beer?

There a lot of well train exercises. You could email me at halimamedical@yahoo.com and I have something that might help u. (Too long to list here) because of your surgery, i'm guessing you have put on a few pounds. If you had knee surgery, running probably wouldn't be the best thing to start out doing. The stairmaster is an excellent source of cardio, and it puts less tension on your knees. If you do it in the morning, before breakfast for a few weeks, you will notice that you are more cut. Combine that in the mornings with weight training in the afternoons, and you should be back to your old self in no time:)

Mabe you can try using the new bowflex. My cousin uses it and he seems to be getting more muscle and he says it is easy to use. Don't work yourself too hard if you are just recovering. Take it slow and be careful.Good luck.

I think you meant 6 pack. But 300 sit ups, push ups, and pull ups a day works for me and my cousin (not all at the same).

i think he means 8 pack by he was soo ripped in his abs that he had an 8 pack. people call it an 8 pack because it actually looks like there are 8 "packs" instead of a six pack.but you shuold do alot of weight training..if you were an all state safety and wide reciever in texas you shuld have no problem with weight training. i wouldnt run for a while until your knee feels better..just do the cardio machines to get in shape.. and always eat right..
