some times of blood pressure medication beta blockers restrict the contraction strength of the heart. this reduction causes decreased blood pressure by reducing blood volume forced out of the heart. this reduced volume can cause poor venous return in the extremity's legs and arms. this decrease blood leads to poor oxygenation and therefor neuropathy.

what?

Probably not the medications, maybe the blood pressure itself. I don't know the answer to your question, but I have PN myself, caused by other factors. I found a great resource on he web. It is called Brain Talk, and has sections on multiple neurologic problems. In the PN section you can both read some good articles on the subject, and then read strings of letters from PN sufferers and share your thoughts and questions.
