im 13, and i am really small boned, and really tall. u can see ALL my ribs, and im embarrased to swim. help!?

Question:
i need to get fatter, and try to make my bones thicker, but i do not no how! plz, someone help me! i need tips to getting fatter, and fast! im already 5'9 1/2 at age 13.

Answers:
its ordinary to be skinny when you're young, don't worry so much. just be sure you're eating a good balanced diet.

as for your bones, make sure you drink enough milk! small boned girls are at a higher risk later in life for bone loss, so you need to drink plenty of milk while you're young.

just keep swimmin, and don't be embarassed! you are who you are, and i'm sure you're wonderful. you don't need to change that for anyone!

Other Answers:
Take up sky diving. In that sport if your bones are showing, something went horribly, horribly wrong. And your not so much embarrassed as you are dead.
Must be nice to be that tall, you're lucky :))) Most taller people are thinner but in a few years you'll put on some weight. In the meantime if you see your doctor or even a nutritionist they can help you. Try a milkshake diet......they are fattening yet have milk in it for health :)
You are still young and growing. You will fill out. You probably had a growth spurt and that maybe all the height you are going to get but it is all genetics. I would just eat a healthy diet and keep swimming your body will catch up.
First of all you should feel good about your height. At 13 if you are 5.9, that's really amazing. And it's very nomal to be skinny if you are very tall at this age. Just make sure to eat healthy diet and exercise. Keep on swimming being skinny is not a problem. Gaining weight is better problem to have as compare to loosing the weight. Cheers!
eat some red meat and some ice cream or shakes or something very filling or unhealthy, just not to much
