You should only wear boxer when you are not doing aerobic exercises but wearing briefs when weight lifting or stretching.
It would be healthier for your sperm production because sperm are more apt to to be produced in a temperature slightly lower than the body's.
i do not wear for such sport, it feel better. try it.
When playing sports or lite exercise I wear supporter/aka jockstrap for protection and comfort.
