why does gallstones infect the liver and if surgery?

Question:
has been postponed twice already this year whats the outcome

Answers:
I dont think so

Other Answers:
Perhaps there is a backup of your bile to your liver due to blockage of the gall bladder. Perhaps the gallstones have migrated up to the liver and blocked the duct/s. I think that the medical team is first managing the infection prior to the surgery to minimize complications.

I wish you well.
