chest hair is coarse, if shaven will it be softer?

Question:
being bare back for many years and exposes to sun, my chest hair has become coarse like a brucsh. If i shave it off will it grow back normal softer texture.

Answers:
NO NO & NO! If you ever notice the hair on your face becomes stubble when it grows back after being shaven. Same thing will happen with chest or any other hair, it grows back thicker!

It won't get softer it will grow back the same. I doubt it will get thicker either , If that were true I'd have a full head of Hair!
hate to be the bearer of painful news but the only way you are going to get around that one is with waxing which will over time kill the hair folicles (an its gonna take a really really long time an unless your into pain hurt like a s.o.b) or to have laser hair removal treatment. To be honest with ya cant figure out what all the fuss is about guys and chest hair you know if we women want something all smooth and soft like that we should find another woman. I happen to like it for what its worth.
The chest hair will not become coarser by shaving it off. But you will cut the top of each hair, and that makes it feel coarser. You could always try a little conditioner on your chest hair when you shower. I have heard it have worked for some.

You could try to wax your chest once just to see if it will grow back like it were before, but I doubt it. And if you continue waxing, your chest hair might get thinner and disappear (like getting bald on your chest).
Shave it off and take better care when it comes to the sun
