There are two types condyloma lata and the other is condyloma acuminatum.
Condyloma Acuminatum is caused by Human Papilloma Virus, it's a skin lesion, mostly pedunculated and loosk like cauliflower, it's considered like a Bengin Tumor, but it's not dangerous atall, very common and can be treated easily by cautery.
Condyloma Lata is the secondry stage of Syphilis which is a sexually transmitted disease, this one is dangerous, if not treated well, Syphilis might progress more into multi organ affection and might lead to death, Syphilis can be treated easily using penicelline.
But since you are speaking of inguinal area, i think it's more likely to be Condyloma Lata, because Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease.
