How can you live today? To people 60 and older?

Question: I am a 63 year old man,and get a 623 dollar a month disability check to live on.How can people live on that.People making 25000 a year say they can't make ends meet.I am homeless because i can't live on 150 dollars a week,it cost that much for a lousey roach infested hotel room in new york city where i live.I have to go to soup kitchens to eat some times.How do you older people living on just social security do it?Must be magic lol

NO ONE CAN LIVE ON SOC SEC WHICH IS THAT LOW.....ITS AN INSULT....THESE CHECKS...REGARDLESS OF YOUR WORK HISTORY SHOULD BE EQUIVALENT TO 500.00 PER WEEK MINIMUM IN TODAYS SUCKY ECONOMY... OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO GET EMPLOYMENT....YOU HAVE MILLIONS OF OTHERS IN YOUR PREDICAMENT..... BETTER TO HAVE A PRINTED FAUX DOLLAR MACHINE...FOR THE SENIORS THAN A LITTLE DITSY CHECK.....
