im 5'6 130 lbs and i need to work out more, any one kno what i can to to get a toned body?

I'm sure there are plenty of internet sites you can research on exercise. You could also visit your local gym and take "toning" classes. Something along the lines of Total Body Sculpting or something like that.
Eat plenty of low fat, high protein food. Protein helps build muscle mass. If you want a lean body, eat loads of protein enriched foods, such as chicken and skimmed milk. Also eat complex carbohydrates such as wholemeal pasta, wholemeal bread, brown rice etc. These will keep you fuller for longer, so you don't have to snack. Also drink plenty of water (muscle is mainly water). It's important that you keep the fatty foods down whilst doing this, unless you want a buff Hugh Jackman body. As far as exercise goes, any resistance work is great - swimming, weights, etc. Pull ups are great if you want a six pack, and if you want to really tone your body, buy some dumbells. sounds to me that your weight is fine, but if you just wanna keep it up i lift weights 2 a week. it tones really quick and builds muscle which helps burn fat, and drink plenty of water. after i lift weights i walk 2 miles, plus i eat by the weight watchers plan as much as possible. i'm 5'7 130lbs.
