Does puberty turn guys into idiots?

Please no one take offense. This is a serious question. Some of my male friends even the sweet ones. Are turning into wanna be players,thugs, or "though guys". They are working my very last nerve. Ive cutt some of them off because they turned into idiots. I heard this dies down by the time they are 18. But it hurts my feelings a bit because i thought i really knew some of these guys. and at one time we were really cool. ive kept some of my male friends who stayed true to who they are, but most are just .... acting really stupid

My question ... does puberty turn guys into idiots ? and does this seriously stop around 18

Puberty turns guys and girls into idiots for a time. It's just girls go through this earlier and have to wait for the guys to catch up. I'm sure that can be frustrating.

The thing is, puberty is happening to their brains as much as to their bodies. Because of that, it's hard for us men to see that we've changed mentally at all. But our minds have changed, so we're trying to find out what those changes are and who they make us. In the mean time, we make bad decisions, we trip all over the place, and we mess up relationships. But it all seems normal to us. It's not until we have a few years under our belts after teenagehood that we can look back and see those negative things for what they are.

yes and they only get dumber until about 30... later for some of the really immature ones.

yes, they're probably trying to impress their male friends and other females (possibly you included) because they think this is the cool way to act. They probably don't realise they are doing it. I was one of the lucky ones and think i managed to avoid the idiot stage. It normally tends to die down by the time they hit 18-20 but by that time your friends will be very different and probably not the guys you would have thought they'd be. The ones you are still friends with you should hang on to, the others aren't worth the hurt.

You have to understand allot of things that goes on at your age is peer pressure and yes us guys at the age of 18 we don"t think with or big head we have tendency to use or lil head. But promise me one thing you stay as sweet and innocent as you can possibly be and a few years from now those same nucklle head is going to be trying to talk to you.
