height question?
Question:
Answers:
There are a lot of factors in height, and genetics is only one of them. I grew up with a lot of kids my age. Our parents were all rather short, just around five feet. We kids, however, are all taller than our parents, and all of our grandparents are taller than our parents as well. Our parents' country was trying to recover from a war when our parents were little children, so times were hard then, and they probably didn't get the right environment or enough of the right nutrition. However, all of us kids grew up in America, and food was plentiful, so we didn't suffer from the same problem.
So, relax. Your height isn't completely determined by your genetics. If you want to give yourself the best chances of reaching your full height potential, make sure you get plenty of nutrition and enough sleep, and try to do all the things you're supposed to do to stay healthy. (Even though you need your lnutrition, try to stay fit. When someone is obese, they might not reach their full height because their bones would be dragging around too much excess fat, so the bones would grow thicker and shorter rather than taller. On the other hand, the same thing happens with muscles. If your muscles are too heavy, they may weigh you down and prevent you from reaching your full height as well, so if you want to go into body-building, don't do it until after you reach your full height.)
So, it depends on how well you take care of yourself. No matter what your genes are coded for, you won't know how tall you are actually going to be until you get there.

you could get any of your familys genes and youll find out when ur done growing
i would go to your doctor they can determine how tall you will be
Take Calcium and Magnesium supplements. Or take "Height Max". Don't get into weight lifting.
You have around 4 more years to grow, so you'll probably end up taller than your parents.
it's all about genetics...most likely your height is determined by your parents height, but you never know, cause I know people who are way taller then their parents...while your still growing take as much advantage of your growth as much as you can through exercise and eating proper foods.
I really don't know.. I have a completely contradicting story of growth.
My mom is like 5'4" and my dad is like 5'10" but I'm 6'2". I'm also the tallest genetic member of my family and kids in my school said there was no way my mom can be my real mom (we were in the family section of the yearbook so it was really comparable [not to mention hilarious], she's a teacher). But then my step sisters' parents are both about 5'10" and they're about 5'10" respectively.
So based on all that I don't know what to tell you. You'll probably grow more since the newer generations are just going to get taller and taller but otherwise there's nothing you can do about it.
