The vast majority of people are raised to believe that sex is wrong and nasty. Pleasing yourself is wrong and that you are going to hell if you do...
Hence people tend to just do it and not talk about. Some people have amazing horrible guilt problems and end up having problems associated with sexual relations.

I agree with you on sex, but people must be safe about it to prevent disease and unwanted pregnancy. Unfortunately, there would still be your percentage of psychos who would rape and abuse others.
