Adult circumcion surgical procedure?

Question:
I'm in my lower 20's just wondering about the the procedure. recovery time. side effects? where would i get this done? how much money??(i have no health insurance)

Answers:
This would need to be done in a hospital setting, as anesthesia would be required, but it would just be an outpatient surgery. You can read more about the surgery and other info here- it is a little graphic as far as showing pics of the surgery, but this is a page with tons of info.

You would need to see a urologist. The procedure will be painful and uncomfortable, more so now because you are an adult and have a voice about pain. You probably will not be able to use the newly circumcised organ for 6 weeks, during which you recover. I do not believe that insurance covers it either.
Circumcision is usually fairly easy, and has very few complications, but it shouldn't be taken lightly either.

It can be done using local anesthesia.

The recovery time is the same as for any other surgery or cut.

The most common side effect is bleeding, and is usually easily resolved with presure or cold packs.

It is done usually in a urologists' office

The cost varies, call and ask.
lol
I had circumcision done when I was about 22 years old. The doctor gave only local anesthesia. The procedure was not paintful at all. It took me about a month to fully recover.
