MY eyes are watery from me touching it yesterday will I go blind. Am I still capable of wearing contacts?

Question:

I'm going to get contacts this weekend, so I practiced touching my eyes with my finger(I washed my hand of course). It was after I realized it could be a problem and idiotic thing to do. Now my eyes are being felt like it's watery and a bit uncomfortable(sometimes little pain not too brutal). Will I go blind now, did i damage my eyes is this permanent, or will it heal. Should I still get contacts?...

Don't worry, I'm going to the clinic to check this out tonight, just want to know what you guys think.

You probably irritated or scratched the lens. Keep you contacts out for a few days and it should heal.

Your hands were dirty and that's what caused it to water.
