Answers:
it could be a number of things....could be an anxiety attack, could be bronchitis , or pneumonia etc, or a heart attack... etc... how about a doctor appointment?? feel better!!!!

Why aren't you in the ER or at your doctors office yet??///////
Sounds like pleurisy, try some deep breathing exercises I mean really deep. Hold it and do this all day, it's going to hurt but just do it. If it is pleurisy you'll cough up phlegm. First thing Monday morning get to the doctor he will probably give you steroids and breathing treatments.

It could also be gas. Gas hurts everywhere. Acid reflux does to. Take an acid reducer like tagamet or ranatidine. If none of that works you better get to the doctor. If it worsens please go to the emergency room!!
yea that just because your goin to get a cold just possibly or mayb.
IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE? Go to A&E
You should go to the ER . I have heard of that happening to people before and they found out that it was because the had an ulcerated esophagus which is caused by acid reflux. It could be other things too. It's not something that should be ignored you should have it checked ASAP
Well, there are a lot of things that could be going on, depending on your age, etc.

One very painful condition is called costochondritis. It in inflammation of the joints between your sternum and your ribs. One way to know if this is a problem is if compressing your chest increases the pain. You can take NSAIDS for it (ibuprofen) until you have a chance to get in to see your doctor.
not good...go get it checked out
go to the doctor and stop missing time here.
Get to the ER... have yourself checked out.. call your doctor..
it's never happened 2 me b4, but the swallowing part sounds like it could b strep throat, i dont know about the pain part though. go 2 ur doctor, if it's strep, he'll give u antibiotics, if it's not, he'll tell u what it is
