Although I am not a doctor, I am a paramedic/teacher - your details are to vague. Depending on when you had your surgery, the swelling could be quite normal. Don't forget your surgery included a "shunt" and you probably were being "stretched" previously and for how long and how many treatments, before the Urologist did the surgery. The injury to your "private", must have been quite sometime ago, and also HOW long did you suffer before you sought treatment! So depending on the length of time it took to Urologist to repair you, it is not uncommon to have some swelling. If your surgery was several weeks ago, and the swelling has now just occurred, see the surgeon that performed the operation. I do not feel that this has anything to do with your other medical condition. Increasing you "fluid" intake may help you, as urinating on a regular basis, keeps the urinary tack open, which was the reason you needed the surgery in the first place. Remember - when asking questions on Yahoo!Answers - start your question with -DOCTORS ONLY ANSWER!.Good Luck..

how many hours of sleep do i need? I'm a 22year old guy.?

Please call the doctor who did the ureteroscopy. Or go to the emergency room at the hospital.
No one here can diagnose anything for you.
