Lipitor can cause wind?
I am a man of 47 years old, It's been 2 months I am taking Lipitor to reduce cholesterol. I am OK but I keep farting. Has anyone experienced the same? should I tell my GP to change medication? is there anything that I can take to contrarrest the farting? Thanks for all answers.

Yes it is known! Dont change it, Its a great drug, but also change your diet! Dont just rely on Lipitor!

i experienced the same symptom when starting to use lipitor. it's a great drug so i wouldn't recommend switching to another cholesterol reducing drug. my pharmacist recommended that i take an over-the-counter medication (Been -o) to curtail the flatulance. it works! (i'm not sure i spelled it correctly. what i gave you is the phonetic spelling).
