Hey All you Medical assistants/LVN's I have a question....?

I attended a med assistant course in 1987 and graduated and became a Medical Assist. I attended LVN school in 2002-2003 and became an LPN/LVN in California. I want to get my "Certified Medical Assistant" certificate ...How can I get certified.????as an MA? Can I? is it possible? I want to be able to work in a Physicians office as a CMA., I'm finding that LVN's (according to most R.N's and Doctors) are Least Valued Nurses......No R.N.'s need to respond please. I have yet to find one that has treated me well.

you would have to go to school or take some courses for the rma.. You can join the aama and see if you can take some courses there. But i would suggest going to a school like the cittone institute or something
