my husband 10 years ago got hit with a crowbar in the groin and ever since is experiencing sharp pains there. we would like to know why and is there any long term affects of this.

i am not a doctor but i am in school for nursing. he needs to go to the doctor and tell him about this because it can cause long term problems like infertility. and 10 years of pain sounds like a little too long to have waited to go see a doctor.

well if he's still in pain after ten years I would have to say there is a long term effect, tell him to see his doctor
