Medical discharge from army?

Question:
I recently had a pcl reconstruction on my right knee due to an injury I received while training. Prior to joining the Army I had to get a waiver due to an acl reconstruction I had a few years before. Do you think that with the pcl surgery combined with the prior acl surgery I will be medically discharged?

Answers:
Not necessarily. You may just get a profile. If it affects your MOS, you my get reclassified.

Only the medical review board will determine it.
It could if you approach it properly, but then again they may assign you to a desk job at the base HQ.
no I do not think so as I know someone who has had many surgeries in the armed services this however may stop you from being able to go overseas with the military for a while
depends on if you are in the regular army or army national guard /reserve guard / reserve will most likely keep you
if you are no good to the army most likely. if you cannot go out field on excercise then you can't go on deployments. if your that bad you will have a med board every 12 months.if no improvemnt is shown then theres no use keeping you. if you can't pass the BFA then that's that'
