Funnily enough, I read yesterday (Observer I think) that there is a new process that has some success. It takes cells from the back of the head and implants them into areas with no hair. And yes, it is years away, but is so far the most successful treatment seen. REGAIN has been criticised as offering false hope, and if you get any regrowth, it will be wispy and disappear as soon as you stop taking it. And it's not cheap, so it's a life sentence. Speaking as a baldish one myself, take the plunge and get it closely cropped. You'll feel far better about it and save a fortune on shampoo. :)

There is nothing less attractive than a man trying to hide his balding pate, shave it off if it makes you feel better, but never try to hide it = )

No cure so come to terms with it at an early stage. Avoid trying to hide it with comb over long hair strands as it looks ridiculous. As it thins or recedes have you hair cut to keep your head looking tidy. Avoid the long hair at the back and sides and avoid the resultant pony tail. That to looks awful.
If you are worried about how you will be viewed by women then have no worries. It sorts out the real women from those that are looking for a nice to look at man with no depth of personality.
Since losing my hair I have never had any problem with the lack of lady friends.
Definitely no wigs either.

Rogaine is garbage.. Save your money. The future will bring gene therapy to replace the baldness gene with a normal gene. Stem-cell therapy may help in the future. For now there is no true cure or remedy to reverse this disease.

Rogain does work, but it will takes some time to get into your system. Rogain increases blood to your skin to stimulate the hair follicle. Give it some time and you will see results. If you want real hair growth try a prescription for minoxidil.

agree with first answer. Just eat a good diet, keep yoursef healthy and hope it lasts! don't waste you money - nothing is proven - if it was, there'd be no bald men, would there!?

dont waste ur money.i think baldness is sxy...buy a hair grooming kit, put it on no1 &cut it so its bristly then go shave it completely off. if u dont like it that short then let it grow & keep cuttin it so its got the rough look when shaven with hair clipper set
