i suffer with bad neck pain and i was never in an accident went to hospital but they say its muscle spasm?

Question: i used to work out in the gym and thats when i started getting this problem is there a cure out there to get rid of these pains as im sick of taking pain killers

Hi.
I have had a similar problems for a number of years, i hate taking drugs of any kind so have been using "Deep Heat" cream.
I also use an electric heat pad when i am sitting in the house.
This works for me, the spasms are still there but not as bad or as frequent as they were.
