Hi ok my dad is diabetic how can i get him to eat right?

Question:

He fights me in eating right and I get so fustrated I am not have a sexual or social life. My ex left me cuz I would go help my dad out more than be with him. I have asked him to come with me he would tell me to f off. One day he split foe good.

Can some one help me with me problem?

Answers:
Forget about your bf. You have only one Dad but you can have million of bfs. Help your Dad's diabetic by first monitoring daily basic on his Glucose (diabetic meters) and second reseaching what kind of foods would bring down his sugar.

Your father is an adult. You cannot heal him or force him to eat
healthy if he has made a decision not to. You only have one father
but it sounds like this situation is as much about control as it is about his health. I would say that you only have one life and you can't throw yours away on someone who obviously has the information to live healthy but refuses to do so. What if your father drank too much? The only person who could stop him would be him, if he woke up one day and said, I am going to quit drinking. Same with eating healthy. I have relatives who are diabetic many with the type that is controllable through diets. Some still died because they snuck and ate their ice cream and cookies and wanted to live the life they wanted while they were here. I still love them but I don't carry a lick of guilt about that and neither should you.
