My front of necck hurts and it's aggravated by speaking..should i not speak?

Question:
oh man, i've explained this alot in various questions so i'll repeat it again. it hurts when i pass saliva as the muscles contract.. and it hurts in those muscles you see in the front, moving..But it's inside because i don't feel pain by touching my neck. and it's outside of the throat cause i don't feel pain inside my throat . Anyways, when i scream or talk ...it hurts. should i stop talking until i get to the doctor tomorrow?

Answers:
Yes. Stop talking. Rest your throat. I had a similar pain when I had neck surgery this summer. They operated on the back of my neck, but I had pain in the front. I was told the anesthesia made it sore, but I kep telling the nurses that the pain wasn't on the inside. It turns out I strained my neck somehow - imagine that. I was out cold and I managed to strain my neck. Good luck at the doctors - and rest that voice for now - and don't sit up typing all night - and I'm done ordering you around now!
Let the doctor decide. Go to a doctor!
