has anyone gotten pregnant after their partner had a vasectomy?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, we have friends that this happened to. I don't think that they went back for the post-op check-up where they check the sperm count to make sure the surgery was successful. Oops!

yes rare but possible
Have had half a vasectomy so don't know if I'm firing blanks.
Yes. The longer it has been since the procedure the less chance of it happening though.
When I had a vasectomy, my doctor tald my wife she could still get pregnant.............Just not with me... so I guess many have.
Its About 95 Percent Possible.
Not me personally, but I used to manage a urology office, and yes it can happen....
Sometimes the vasectomy can reverse its self. The tubes just grow back together,
Once in a while, couples will have unprotected sex to soon after the surgery and the man still has viable sperm. It's really important to get a sperm count after the vasectomy and make sure it is negative.
I actually had a friend years ago that this happened to. Her husband got an vasectomy while out to sea in the Navy and came home and a few weeks later she was expecting. The corpsman never told her husband that he needed to get a sperm count. He thought she had an affair...by the time it all got sorted out their marriage was over....It ruined their lives. So get a sperm count and practice safe sex until then.
It has been heard of. The times when it happens most is right after surgery and before you have been declared "ready" by the doctor. There are other reasons why it happens, but they are more individual.
