I had a kidney transplant three years ago and now I can't get an erection? any suggestions?

Question:
I have tried that mens health thing on TV however I do not want to take pills. I am currently taking Prograf, Cellcept, Predinsone, Lipitor, Regland, Lopressor, and Insulin Lantis and Humolog. Yes I have high chloestrol

Answers:
Hi, I also have been living with a kidney transplant for the last 17 years. Some of your meds have side effects that can make a man impotent. I am also on lipitor as well and I have not had any problems similiar to the ones you are having. Also keep in mind that your immunosuppressive medications are much newer then the ones I presently take. I am currently on Neoral, Imuran and Prednisone. You might want to ask your nephrologist about the Lopressor you are taking for high BP that might be causing you to have this problem as well.
Anyway, good luck to you my friend and I wish you well with many good healthy years with your new lease on life.

R U afraid to discuss this with your doctor?

U R already on 2 many pills! I'm sorry about that - you are missing out on so much. I suggest masturbation for 15 min per day. If you are circumcised, sorry 'bout that. If you aren't, this is what you can do:

1. Pull your foreskin back as far as possible to make it look like you're circumcised.

2. Now, can you see a little stringy white thing leading from the skin to the hole where urine comes out? Touch that and keep doing it until it tickles.

3. Now get undressed and walk around the room naked with your ugly-looking pulled-back penis sticking out.

4. Mime sex. If you have a partner, have sex with him/her.

5. 'Push' as if you're trying to pre-ejaculate.

6. If none of these work, you seriously need to see a doctor.

If you start getting an erection after number 3, quickly put back your foreskin.

IF YOU ARE CIRCUMCISED:

1. Do steps 4-6.

2. Put your legs behind your head and - I know it's disguisting - try to have oral sex with yourself.

3. Masturbate!
