What I was told is that it helps a lot. But you need to eat the right quantity for the physical exercise you do. Otherwise you'll not only get fat but you'll risk damaging your kidneys because proteins have a lot of toxins that get out through sweat and your kidneys.

yup it does, but, of course you have to work hard for it, other wise only taking protien shakes and not working out will make you FAT! They will help you build muscles, only through an intense workout following consumption. If you don't it will be stored as fat.


Protein Shakes increase the amount of protein in your body, but it will only help BUILD muscles if you excercise, and create a NEED for the excess protein.
