Using hair loss products on chest?

Question:

Do those hair loss products work on al type of hair eg. The chest. Im still young but see no real hair growth on my chest. So if i use those products on my chest will it work? is there any way to grow chest hair besides genes or old wives tales like dringking whysky or rubbing on chicken poo (yes i know thats strange but ive heard it before)

FYI-Minoxidil (orally) is used for high blood pressure and increased absorption through your skin could cause you to have some big problems. So don't do it!

Well how old are you. Rogaine etc doesnt work if theres no hair folicle there. Does your dad g-dad older bro have chest hair? If so your chances are great for getting it to.
