Hardgainer needs Help!?

Question:
I'm a 20 yr old male, looking to put on 50-60 lbs but want it to be lean cut muscle. I've started on a real strict wight training session with some guys in my unit, but I need help as to what to eat, supplements, and what not, any help will be much appreciated.

Answers:
50-60 pounds of muscle is unrealistic. It will take years. First off start out with smaller goals. Say 10 pounds at a time. You will be surprised at how long that takes even for lean, cut, muscle.
1. Diet is most important. Have 6 small meals a day, your body needs constant protein to stay in an anabolic state. You should be eating 1 gram per pound of body weight. Take in starchy carbs (potatos, pasta) before workouts, take in sugar carbs for immediate replenishment after workouts (fruits, gatorade). Eat something that digests slowly before bed (steak) to keep the body supplied with protein as you sleep. This is the most critical element. Let this lapse and your progress will lapse.
2. Creatine is the number one supplement. You don't really have to load it, as it is a waste. You will definitly notice gains.
3. Andro- worked wonders for me, but in the military it will make your steroid test show up as positive, stay away from all related products.
4. Nitrous Oxide-take before a work out, swells your muscles with blood and O2 and allows you to lift more weight.

Don't waste money on amino acids, as they are found in protein. Drop me a follow up line if you want more info.

Other Answers:
Generally is down to diet, eat 1.5g of protein per lb of bodyweight. If you are doing this already, start by increasing carbs and fats. Make sure your post workout meal is correct (whey protein).
