the reason why there are more male victims of suicide is bcuz they do the suicide more effectively than women. shooting one's head and hanging oneself is more effective than cutting yourself and overdosing sleeping pills. unfortunately men do the "masculine" way-- that is, shooting one's head and hanging oneself

As xapao said .. men often choose more violent methods that have a higher "success" rate .. and perhaps also cos they tend to be less expressive of their emotions, they're less likely to admit they're vulnerable or hurt, and get help BEFORE they get to that suicidal stage. because of women! just kidding! actually.good question.
