my dad's smoking a lot again!?

i remeber my dad smoking a lot when i was younger. and then he reduced it by only smoking whenever he needed to use the bathroom and after dinner.. but recently, i found out that he's been smoking a lot at work. every time i arrive at his office he's either smoking or about to smoke. and one time when i went with him to his office early in the morning, the first thing he told his secretary to do is to buy him one case of cigarette! i'm starting to get worried of him. he's uncle died of lung cancer and he too was a smoker. cancer runs in our blookd and i don't want my dad to have one too! i;m getting paranoid here so i'm practically blabbing. but please, help!

Sweety have you told your Dad how his smoking worrys you and why !?! Start there. I quit smoking in March of this year and I was a 2 pack a day smoker , I have gained some weight but fell so much healthier. LET him know how much you need and love him sweety. I quit when my Grand-daughter told me " grandmama how come you stink ".phew what a blow !

open his cig pack,smear poop on the butts,reseal pack. when he tastes the crapp he will quit smoking

either hide his ciggs, or poke holes in them with needles this makes them not work You can talk to him, but he won't quit until he is ready. Chances are he never cut down, just cut down when he was in front of you. It's a nasty addiction and I have it too.

i dnt what i must say coz im smoker 2 but tell him u will not love him if he smoke ever and dnt talk to him before he quiet the cigarrites

YOur dad might be under a lot of stress right now, and smoking is his way of coping or dealing with the stress. Tell him what you have told us. And if he still can't quit, just don't worry about it so much. It could be worse. There are some kids out there who have to deal with parents that are smoking crack instead of cigarettes.

My Uncle too died of smoking.
Get a till n for every cigaratte he smokes drop in a quarter and end of the week show him how much is in the till. well its his lungs, iam sure he knows that cancer cures smoking.
