Question About facial hair color?

Question:
Ok, I have brown hair and My facial was black but resently Ive developed an equal amount of facial hair.. I cant tell if they are new hairs or the previous black hair is turning red.

To anyone with red facial hair/different color hair... was yours always red or did start out as dark and then turn red as you matured.

The reason I ask is because I'm hoping that it will eventually turn MOSTLY red and not be uneven patches of black and red.

thanks...

Answers:
You can have different colors of hair on any part of your body, including on your face. I think, from an evolutionary standpoint, it gives a person's hair sort of a contrasting look and is very appealing. Lots of guys would give their eye teeth to have a beard like you have described. Consider yourself fortunate. It sounds very manly.
I have brown hair on my head but when I let my beard grow it turns out a little ginger. My mother has red hair so that could explain it.
