I have spina bifida andI was wondering since I don't have much feeling, how do I get an erection?

Well,this depends onthe type of Spina Bifida you have.
It definitely can't be the worst type--Spina Bifida Cystica -since you would probably have hydrocephalous and unable to type this question or reach an age to desire erections; be almost entirely paralysed from the waist down,and have bowel and bladder incontinence.Erectile dysfunction would be the least of your problems.
So you must have Spina Bifida Occulta or a Meningocoele.
Erections are possible in both cases but less so in the Occulta type.Those with Meningocoeles function almost normally when repaired early and have kids and live regular lives.
The key is early repair in infancy,good physiotherapy and a good diet with vitamin supplementation.Folic acid intake is also recommended.
l'm sure you know that 8 -time Boston Marathon winner and Olympian Jean Driscoll suffered from Spina Bifida..so there's lots of hope!
