my best friend is a 13 yo boy (ima 13yo girl) and we've been best friends since we were six anyway lately hes been acting wierd anytime he gets an erection he makes a stupid excuse and leaves or gets really red ive told him i dont care and that i kno he can't control it . we used to be really close and talk about everything but now i never see him because he always leaves... hes never been really shy and my other guy friends dont have a problem with having and erection near me. it would be really bad if we stopped being friends because he is the best person ever (and he knows all my secrets) but thats not a good reason I NEED ADVICE SO I DONT LOSE A FRIEND PLEASE

u no , it is very embarrassing for a boy to get hard in front of a girl even if u r bestfrnds, maybe its because he doesnt no that u dont care, he might think that u will feel weird abt it, or even dislike it,
cause well, ur still agirl, and thats what most boys do,

He is basically just entering puberty, and some things could cause him to "Overact" out of embarrassment. Let him know you are still his friend and that he should not feel so self consciences about what his body is doing. He might also have a problem because he feels that you are more like a sister and that it is "disrespectful" to have the feelings he is having. If you can get him to talk and explain how he feels you might be able to redirect the negative feeling and enforce the positive ones.
