does anyone suffer from pancreatitis and if so are you in pain constantly and if so what are you doing for it

was diagnosed in 2001 went through many surgery's and still in pain almost every day my life is not the same i'm on all differant pain meds nothing helps any suggestions from someone in my situation i'm 38 yr male .thanks . can you share some of your experiences with me so i know i'm not alone .email me bermendezlisa@msn.com.

My mother suffers from it too. She had her Gall Bladder removed, and the Dr. said it was a coin toss as to whether or not to take out the pancreas too due to it's poor condition. They left it in, and she has had sever pancreatitis ever since.
There's a dietary supplement out there called Secretagogue-One. It's a general HGH stimulator not intended for anything related to pancreatitis, just general health and vitality. However, when my mother started taking it, it worked miracles for her condition. Not sure why or how, but it did and still does.
That's Secretagogue-One, NOT Secretagogue-Gold. Gold has a different formulation and when she took it her symptoms came right back.

i don't know if what I say will be much help or comfort. Generally, with pancreatitis, we put the patient on either IV pain medication or pain shots. If it is acute, then we take them off food and run fluids through the IV until it resolves. For chronic, I am not sure. Have you tried the Duragesic patches?
