I have a the problem of my ears popping everytime I lift weights, anyone else?

Question:
It's very irratating, and I wonder if it has to do with my breathing or something else.

Answers:
You are probably performing what is refer ed to as the valsalva maneuver. This is common during very strenuous activity-it results from increased pressure. check out the link below for the science behind it. To pr vent this, breathe properly---inhale during ecentric/negative phase and exhale during concentric/positive phase.

Other Answers:
i think you might be straining too hard, try some lighter weights and see if it pops
You could have an inner ear malfunction, I'd have it checked out.

But, I have had my ears pop on a REAL heavy squat lift..cause I didn't breath out like I was supposed to on the "lift" part of the action.

always breath out when "pushing"..it will also help you prevent hernias.
