Medical help...?

Question:
I'm really worried today I was standing out on my balcony when I saw lots of sparks in my vision. as I got more confused I could see loads and when I tried to snap out of it I nearly fainted and couldn't stand. I've never fainted before so I don't know if it was just me nearly fainting or something else... can anyone help?

Answers:
First of all don't panic. There could be many reasons, vertigo - or being wary of heights is one possibility. As I understand it, this often gets worse with age - you can become scared as heights as an adult whereas your were not as a child. Sitting up/looking up too quickly can also send you a bit dizzy. Certain foods and additives can also make this worse, depending on your tolerances.

One possible cause that you might want to get checked out is your blood pressure. If it is high, see you doctor straight away. If you haven;t had a check recently, then it is good to get this done, but worrying/stress will only make this worse, so calm down first.

I'm not a doctor, so treat as such. If I was, I would probably give you some expensive pills that you don;t need :)
You need to get your blood pressure checked - you may find it is high - if so then see a doctor as quick as you can !
