I dont think so my ex is always in jail for some nonsence and Ive never heard of him being blood tested.. If they dont they should because of Aids and other diseases
That depends on what state you are in and what gender you are. Inmates in most states can refuse any medical attention, tests, etc. In most states, women going to jail are given a pregnancy test at a minimum. Most inmates are given TB tests as well.
TB test. anything else you have to request yourself, like hiv or any std test.
Most county health departments don't have the time or resources to run any blood tests for county jail inmates. Many of the inmates would be out before the testing was complete, anyway.
Stewart is wrong. The jail must test for certain things, such as the minor stuff like Hep B and diseases like that. While it does take time for these tests to come back, the jail often gets priority and the tests are back within 12-24 hours. Most inmates are held for at least 24 hours.
