Stay away from foods with saturated and trans fats as these higher LDL and lower HDL cholesterol levels in your body. Unsaturated fats (especially monounsaturated) lower LDL and raise HDL cholesterol levels in your body. The old advice was to not eat foods high in cholesterol, but there is new evidence suggesting that dietary cholesterol has no effect on cholesterol levels in your body. You should probably stay away from these as well.
Eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Eliminate pork and beef. Cut down foods that are fried and sweet stuff. Avoid cookies, chips, cake or anything made with margarine and butter.

Seafood: eat fish only on moderation, since fish too is contaminated.

For carbohydrate eat grains, steam rice/potato.

If you want to eat meat: white poultry meat (no fat) or subtitute meat with veggie meat.

With this diet I believe you will cut down your cholesterol level dramatically.
Drink alot of milk, eat plenty of cheese, and eat pig lard, really changes the level of your cholesterol
Try supplementing with omega 3 fatty acids from fish sources. Shoot for 6 grams per day. It will increase you HDL levels which will in turn lower your LDL levels, which is the "nasty" cholesterol component. You want to elevate you ratio of omega 3 to 6 or 9.
